About the Directory and its Sub Directories
Business Support Kent and its partners provide the Kent Business
Directory (KBD) as a free service for Kent and Medway. Business
Support Kent is a government sponsored but locally run organisation
that provides the information, advice, and support you need to start,
maintain, and grow a business; it is the local delivery arm of the
Business Link service. All the local authorities in Kent, including
the County Council, promote sub directories of the Directory on their
websites, as does Kent Messenger. You can contact Business Support

A major benefit of the Directory is the boost it can give to the link popularity
of your own website. The Directory also serves the local community as
a powerful tool for connecting businesses - it contains details of around
60,000 local businesses in Kent and nearby areas. It is a great way
for customers to find out about your business - using the powerful
search facilities provided. If you keep your entry up to date, it
will be found and displayed by all the major Internet search engines in
their search results.
